HADAL MAW ‘OLM’ Australian Tour

Melbourne death metal titans HADAL MAW are set to embark on their biggest ever Headline Tour of Australia this February! Get ready as one of Australia’s most intense bands bring their extremity to a venue near you in celebration of their newest offering OLM, out February 3rd 2017.

Check out a brand new song + video ‘The Olm’.

2016 saw Hadal Maw cement themselves among Australia’s heavy elite as they brandished their new vocalist Sam Dillon (Lo!, Snakes get bad press) and a collection of uncompromising new tunes. They shared the stage with the likes of Thy Art Is Murder, Psycroptic, Cryptopsy and many more, demonstrating they were more than capable of holding their own alongside the world’s finest.

“Hadal Maw stole the show…one of the most fantastic feats of musical extremity”
– Heavy Music Magazine

“Olm” will be released through EVP Recordings (Behemoth, King Parrot, Psycroptic) in Australia. The work promises to deliver a  departure from their tech death roots, centering their focus on forging oppressive atmosphere, married with undeniably heavy grooves while retaining the densely woven instrumentation that they’ve become so renowned for.

While many lauded Hadal Maw’s 2014 debut album ‘Senium’, it was on the road where they really earned their reputation as a formidable live act and in 2017, they seek to continue to show why they stand out among the crowd at every show they play, taking their latest offering all around Australia.

“Hadal Maw gave the performance of the evening. To describe the experience of seeing Hadal Maw live in one word: it would be intense” – Metal Obsession

HADAL MAW – Exclusive Sydney Show w/ Sumeru, Yanomamo, Home Burial

Hadal Maw

HADAL MAW finally return to Sydney for an Exclusive Headline Show at The Factory Floor on Friday, 21st October! After cementing vocalist Sam Dillon (Lo!, Snakes Get Bad Press) into their line up and completing production on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album “Senium”, HADAL MAW are back on the scene to deliver an all new punishing live show.

The band has been keeping busy with shows around the country including a Perth show supporting Earth Rot, and a massive Melbourne show alongside Be’lakor at Corner Hotel. The future sees them having shows with Thy Art is Murder and Cryptopsy, followed by a Brisbane show with Psycroptic and taking part in the famed New Dead Metalfest in Adelaide. The band wanted to make sure their friends in Sydney weren’t left out of the picture and are now teaming up with SUMERU, YANOMAMO and HOME BURIAL for one exclusive skull crushing show!

Backing up the groove contingent are stoner metal giants SUMERU. The band will be taking a break from writing their second album to deliver the most crushing of riffage coupled with the bluesiest of groove.

YANOMAMO need little introduction to the Australian doom scene but with a new vocalist and slew of new tunes, now is a good time to get reintroduced. With the addition of vocalist Scott Tabone to the line up, the band has wasted no time in reinvigorating their live show while pre producing their new album.

HOME BURIAL will be opening the festivities with an aggressive slap to the face. Having shared the stage with the likes of Full of Hell, The Kill and Birds in Row, the trio are fast making their mark on the Sydney hardcore/punk scene.

HADAL MAW will play a set largely consisting of songs from their new album along with all the fan favourite neck-breaking grooves. Make sure you secure your tickets now to get a taste of what’s shaping up to be one of Australian Metal’s most anticipated releases!
